We’re excited to share the Summer 2026 edition of Wellness Unlocked, our quarterly magazine that highlights the people, programs, and passion driving community wellness forward. This issue features stories that show how we are expanding access across the community with our mobile health unit, how technology is transforming care at Advance, a guide to summer safety for children, and much more.
Check out the Highlights of our Summer 2026 Issue Below:
- The Advance Community Health Mobile unit is meeting people where they are and providing care to individuals in a space where they feel comfortable and supported. Through these partnerships, Advance Community Health can provide compassionate care to our community!
- Our technology is expanding and exploring traditional solutions, including remote scribing, where a virtual assistant joins visits virtually to type notes for providers. This allows providers to focus more on the patients while being able to improve operations and patient care.
- Nutrition: Healthy Swaps! EatWell Exchange shares a delicious recipe for honey BBQ chickpeas. This recipe only takes 20 minutes and provides a delicious addition to your meals while providing a good source of plant-based protein. Don’t forget to make the strawberry agua fresca to top off your meal, which is a great way to increase fruit intake while staying hydrated!
- Ask the Expert! In this Q&A, Director of Pediatric, Patera Foye-Fuller, provides a guide for summer safety for children from sun exposure and dehydration to heat-related illnesses and water safety concerns. Parents and caregivers play a key role in keeping kids protected during the warmer months, and we are here to help!
- This edition highlights State Advocacy Day, where Advance Community Health joins community health centers from across the state to advocate for the patients and communities we serve. State Advocacy Day serves as a powerful reminder that our work extends far beyond our clinic walls.
- You can also check out What’s New at Advance Community Health. We’re excited to open a new OB/GYN clinic this summer in Holly Springs.
