Site History

Amplify Health has been serving patients and families in Southeast Raleigh for decades. The Southeast Raleigh location was originally established in May 1997 following the merger of Wake Health Services’ Tarboro Road and Jones Street practices. 

In 2015, the organization expanded its presence with the opening of the Southeast Raleigh Medical Campus, a 35,000-square-foot, $13 million investment designed to bring multiple services together in one location.

As part of that expansion, Rock Quarry Road Family Medicine, the Horizon Health Center program, New Bern Ridge Pediatrics, and the New Bern Ridge Dental Center relocated to the new campus and became part of what is now Amplify Health.

Today, the Southeast Raleigh CarePlex continues to serve as one of Amplify Health’s largest locations, providing a broad range of services and supporting the organization’s continued growth across the Triangle.
