To Our Community:
Right now, a lot of people in our community are scared. Immigration raids are happening at churches, schools, workplaces, and even in family neighborhoods. These actions are ripping families apart, keeping kids out of school, and leaving communities unsure of where they can feel safe.
At Advance Community Health, we want to be clear about something: everyone is welcome here. No matter your background, it doesn’t change the care, respect, and compassion you deserve. Our doors are open, our team is here to support you, and our level of care will not change.
There will always be debates about immigration and border policies. As CEO of a safety net organization, I believe fear, harassment, and intimidation are not things anyone in our community should have to live with. What’s happening right now is not just affecting one group, it’s affecting us all. When one neighbor is harmed, our whole community feels it.
We are inspired by the multitude of ways our community has shown up for each other. Nonprofits, volunteers and community leaders, are leading the way in standing up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Advance Community Health remains committed to being a safe, welcoming and trusted source of healthcare. Our Board of Trustees and leadership are diligently working to navigate the current policy shifts, and align our mission and primary care model to ensure affordable access for all patients.
We look forward to working together to create a community where everyone experiences dignity, fairness and care.
In Solidarity,
Scot McCray
