WAKE COUNTY Power Hour

Advance Community Health invites you to join us for our “Power Hour” education series! Power Hour sessions are designed to educate the community on a variety of health care topics, and provide an opportunity to learn from and connect with a medical team!

In 2026, the Wake County Power Hour theme will focus on family education. We recognize that families experience many transitions and stages throughout life, and we are committed to providing meaningful resources, practical tools, and skill-building opportunities that support families at every step. This series offers informative and workshop-based sessions that strengthen families and promote lifelong health and well-being.

Sessions occur on every third Saturday from 11-12pm at Pullen Park Community Center, 408 Ashe Ave, Raleigh, NC 27606

Helping Our Student Thrive

Discover how to identify the root causes of academic struggles and what meaningful support truly looks like for students. This Power Hour will explore the emotional, behavioral, social, and environmental factors that can impact student success both inside and outside of the classroom!

Learn practical strategies for teachers and parents to better support students through encouragement, communication, advocacy, and early intervention. Whether you’re an educator, caregiver, or community member, this session will provide helpful tools to create more supportive environments where students can feel seen, understood, and empowered to succeed.
