Highlighting Programs and Services
Over the past year, we have launched several innovative programs to better serve our community. Highlights include DiaBeat It, our diabetes management initiative, and the addition of new food shelves in our Pediatric and OB/GYN departments. We also expanded access to care through new facilities, including Breakthrough Behavioral Health and the Franklin County CarePlex, and expanded our Advance Axcess facility. These expansions allow us to reach more patients and provide care that is timely, comprehensive, and patient-centered.
In addition to expanding care, we introduced new ways to engage and educate our patients and community. Wellness Unlocked Magazine and the It’s Giving Health Podcast offer accessible health information, practical tips, and inspiring stories, hoping to inspire patients to take charge of their health.
Strengthening Partnerships and Community Impact
Our impact is strengthened by meaningful partnerships that support our mission. The Annual Report highlights several of these collaborations, including Pinnacle Financial Partners, Nourishing Wake with Wake County and NourishRX. Nourishing Wake delivers healthy foods and provides nutritional resources directly to families in need, while Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsored the first food shelf at our Southeast Raleigh location, ensuring that families facing health challenges do not face hunger. These partnerships help us provide the essential resources families need to thrive and maintain their health.
